Schalneh's wheel

This is my character Schalneh, of whom I am rather fond despite her character design being a whole lot simpler than many others. Then again, that might be part of it. Her costume is a lot easier to draw.

Schalneh has lived for a very long time, and still follows what she refers to as 'the old ways,' even though they're so old that most people don't know they exist. She's also a great believer in the power of personal attention; she feels that a potion is stronger when stored in a container that was made by the hands of the potionmaker, a meal cooked by hand without the help of magic tastes better, is more filling, and more nutritious, and clothing made by hand is more beautiful than that which is not.

Although why she's lounging around her potter's wheel, I'm not entirely sure.

Mechanical pencil, as usual. I did this not long after I got back into the states, but I had no access to a computer with a decent scanning utility for a long time.
