Attempted Innocence

"Come and see this magnificent sunset."
I looked up at Ohrfe, who had turned from the window to grin at me with a mouthful of sharp teeth. The sunset, which I caught a glimpse of through the window, was indeed lovely, but I doubted that it was his entire reason for calling me over.
"You just want me to walk over there so that you can steal a kiss," I countered, seating myself on the divan and returning his grin with a smirk.
"Would I do that?" Ohrfe widened his eyes a bit and smiled as sweetly as he could, bringing a hand to his chest and trying hard to look innocent. I bit my tongue to keep from laughing, mostly because he pulled it off relatively well for being a giant reptile.
"You did yesterday."

I finished Ohrfe's background while waiting for Frances to blow over. Now I rather hope that people will stop thinking that he is a 'she'. Hmph. The airbrushing in Adobe Photoshop (still stuck using 5.0) took quite awhile, and it had taken a long time for me to get around to even doing it; I did the figure almost a year ago, and drew the background on paper a couple months after that.

I am such a procrastinator.
